We drove to Wilcox, Az to Annie's Apple Orchard/ pumpkin patch on Sunday, October 14, 2012. The boys had a blast! Here's a shot from our hay ride.

We will miss you ClubMed Ixtapa!

We are still recovering from our amazing 7 day stay at ClubMed Pacific, Ixtapa, Mexico. The entire family had a wonderful time! The flight time from Tucson to Ixtapa, with a layover in Phoenix, was 4 hours total. Both boys did well, considering Elias was recovering from a cold and Cristian was just starting to battle one :-(

Elias and Cristian enjoyed playing in the sand, walking along the beach, hanging in the kiddie pool, drinking yummy strawberry, banana/pina colada smoothies, listening to live music on the deck, watching Iguanas roaming around the resort and much more.
Here are our pictures from our trip. We had such a blast and can't wait to plan our next family vacation!

Toddler Wrap Up

Last Thursday, 5/24/2012, marked the end of Elias' first school year and what better way to celebrate than with a Luau-themed party! Elias really enjoyed his first year at Castlehill and we've enjoyed watching him flourish. He adored his teacher Mrs. Ward and teacher's assistant Ms. Desi and I will forever remember the warmth and kindness they showed to Eli each day. Here are a few pictures from the party. Also, below are a few shots of the boys enjoying the giraffe pool this past weekend.

It's getting HOT here in Tucson! This weekend we experienced heat in the 90's and it's only going to get hotter :-/ We did something pretty fun this weekend, Elias had a cement sidewalk decorating gather at his school. He got to put his hand print in the cement, which I'm not exactly sure he liked, and decorate our family cement square. He got to hang out on a Sunday with all of his school friends and their families.
And, Cristian will be 11 months on 5/4. He has 4 teeth and is spouting 2 more!!! He's growing soooo fast.

Make-up Post (a little behind :-/ ) On 4/15/2012 Marlon [and our good friend Desi] completed his first Triathlon! The boys and I were there to cheer him on. He trained for nearly 3 weeks; we are so proud of his accomplishment. What an inspiring experience all around! We saw a 12 yo young lady competing and a 14 yo as well. Maybe one day the boys will join Marlon in a race :-)
