Today was Elias' last day of school and to celebrate he had a class Christmas party! The kids got to participate in a gift program where they gave presents to other children in need. I'm not sure Elias fully understood the exercise, but I think we'll start doing this as a tradition so he understands that there are plenty of less fortunate kids. I want him to understand just how blessed we are!
Sorry to rant, but it's a topic that is important to me. Back to the party, the kids had pizza, exchanged books, cookies, and danced to Christmas music! Really was a fun way to end the year. School will be out until January 3rd, now we'll have to find fun things for him to do during Winter break :-)
