Fun Times in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!!

We just got back from a visit to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and it was absolutely amazing! From the neighborhood that we stayed in (Pedregal), to the house that we rented, to the beautiful infinity pool, we just can't say enough great things about this trip. Our family made some wonderful memories this trip, we hope our boys will remember it! We have a few (350+ lol) pictures below. Enjoy!

Texas Half-Ironman! (Catch-up)

He did it!! Marlon completed his first half-Ironman and we couldn't be more proud of him! And, Elias followed in dad's footsteps and completed his first IronKids 1 mile run. I'm so proud of my boys!

Let it Snow!!

This past weekend we packed up the car and went to Show Low, AZ for the first time. It took us 3.5 hours to get there, but the trip was well worth it! We rented a cabin with our friends The Avila family. The kids were super excited to use all of their new snow gear.

Thanks Great Grandma/Grandpa Horton for the snow bibs you got Cristian and Eli for Christmas they came in handy!!

Elias enjoyed just throwing himself and rolling around in the snow and exploring. Cristian didn't enjoy falling face-first in a pile of snow, he was pretty much done after that :-) We'll try to visit the snow every winter, as the boys seemed to like the idea of getting away and playing in the snow.

Marathon Man!

Marlon completed his first-ever full Marathon (26.2 miles) this past Sunday 1/20/2013! The boys and I, along with the Avila Family, were all there to cheer him on. The whole experience was exciting for everyone! We are so proud of him. Also, it's always nice hanging with our old friends, Cristi and Desi, and their beautiful kids. It's amazing how our lives changed, for the better, since first meeting in Houston, TX - our families have doubled :-)

Elias' Pre-School Holiday Party

Today was Elias' last day of school and to celebrate he had a class Christmas party! The kids got to participate in a gift program where they gave presents to other children in need. I'm not sure Elias fully understood the exercise, but I think we'll start doing this as a tradition so he understands that there are plenty of less fortunate kids. I want him to understand just how blessed we are! Sorry to rant, but it's a topic that is important to me. Back to the party, the kids had pizza, exchanged books, cookies, and danced to Christmas music! Really was a fun way to end the year. School will be out until January 3rd, now we'll have to find fun things for him to do during Winter break :-) Here are some pictures from today's Christmas Party!
